UNIUM donates all proceeds from “Let’s Overcome Corona NFT” sales
As an NFT social project, UNIUM, an NFT influence creation project, held an Instagram posting challenge with the theme “Let’s Overcome Coronavirus” on October 26 last year. Many users have posted their ways to overcome pandemics.
After the challenge was completed, UNIUM collected all the posts and turned them into a single image collage NFT product, and sold it via a marketplace auction.
The final winning bid among multiple bids was 3.15 WETH ($10,192.83).
All proceeds were donated to the social enterprise DOLGO to be used as a fund to defeat the coronavirus. DOLGO is a platform created by a non-profit organization, DOLGO Donation, which was created to create a transparent and sustainable operating system so that vulnerable people, who are in the blind spot of well-being, can become healthy members of society.
“This NFT is a meaningful piece of art that shows our will and hopes to overcome Corona. Thank you to everyone who participated in this great event and we hope this donation will be used for those who are vulnerable to COVID-19,” UNIUM officials said.
UNIUM raised public awareness of its blockchain technology and NFT marketplace and proved how the donation works seamlessly. UNIUM is a blockchain-based NFT platform that gives digital assets unique recognition value and uses NFT tokens to create and trade various content for influencers and artists. The project aims to create an ecosystem where influencers and fans can communicate closely through their products.
In addition to creating collaborative NFTs with influencers, UNIUM will continue to plan events or products to help socially disadvantaged people in 2022.
