The Lima Christian School has announced that the auction to benefit this year will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021, starting at 5:30 p.m. on the school campus (1574 Rochester St., Lima, NY 14485).

Acting Principal Vicky Britton said: “It hasn’t been easy, but we’ve kept our doors open for in-person instruction throughout the pandemic. For this reason, our students are in a better academic, mental, social and spiritual situation than many of their counterparts in public schools today. We give glory to God for all that has been accomplished during this time in our school’s history. We hope this will inspire community members to consider supporting our next profit auction. “

The event features a live, silent auction featuring gift cards, power tools, electronics, themed baskets, handmade goods and more. The event has become an annual pre-holiday shopping stopover for locals. A partial list of included items is listed at

Babysitting service for children under the age of 12 will be offered when the silent auction closes at 6:45 p.m. so that everyone can attend the live auction at 7:15 p.m. A potato bar baked goods and drinks will also be available to participants.

“The auction is our school’s biggest fundraising event of the year. It’s a great time in community as alumni and current families come together to meet the financial needs of the school. This year’s event will support two of our priorities: keeping tuition affordable and increasing teacher salaries, ”said Jason J. McGuire, Chairman of the Board.

A Facebook event has been created for the auction on the school’s Facebook page.
