Christmas tree sale to benefit Kenwood Elementary School – Kenwood press news

Wondering where to buy a fresh cut Christmas tree?

By Melissa Dowling

The Kenwood Education Foundation (KEF) is once again selling fresh trees, garlands and wreaths for the holidays. One hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to Kenwood Elementary School.

KEF has partnered with an upscale tree farm in Oregon to source freshly cut trees. The website also offers an option to purchase a tree for a family in need or for the family of an active duty member.

To order, visit https: // fundraiser4us. com / shop / Kenwood-Trees.

Tree prices range from $ 69 for a 5 to 6 foot Douglas fir, to $ 199 for a 9 to 10 foot noble fir. Handcrafted Noble Fir Wreaths cost $ 46 and Western Cedar Wreath is $ 3.25 per foot (5 feet minimum). All orders must be placed no later than November 14th.

Premium trees will be available for pickup on Saturday, December 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Kenwood Elementary, 230 Randolph Ave., Kenwood. Local delivery by a very knowledgeable KEF volunteer is available for an additional $ 25.

For more information, visit www.kenwoodeducationfoundation. organization or email [email protected] org.

KEF is a not-for-profit public utility company. It raises funds to support programs at Kenwood Elementary School for which there is not sufficient government funding.

These programs include art, music, physical education, STEM, computer lab, library, and classroom teaching aids.
